Stock photos

Where do you get images to create banners and graphics? Do you use free stock photos or do you purchase pictures?

Hello, i don't know about other people but i know what sort of image i would want to enhance to visual experience of my banner so i don't rule out either option.

Of course its better to get a free stock image i know but if its going to decrease the quality of the banner i would opt to buy one.

Don't get stock photos, try doing some own photo shoots for your logo or whatever your making, that way its more original rather than overused by other sites, try and be individual

I use a few different ones. Or I take them myself :) A few sites I use are http://www.fotosearch.com/ and I cant find the other link :(

I use sxc.hu whenever I need graphics.
But I also agree with Lucid_Seeker... if possible, use your own original graphics/photos.

Anyway, what a coincidence. I just stumbled on a blog post which lists sites where we can find free graphics for use in our blogs/sites. It's on Lorelle's (http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2006/10/04/free-photos-for-your-blog/). Great resource, I must say.
