Ask.com is going to launch a contextual advertising product just like Adsense. The company hopes to win over publishers by attacking one of AdSence’s biggest weaknesses - transparency. Ask’s contextual product will be available on May 21st for publishers to sign up.

I wonder what their payouts will be. I dont think it would be better then adsense...anyways here is the article:

I hope that it allows international publishers.

I don't think they will immediately start with international users, first they would launch in US and Canada, later they would launch international service for worldwide users. These kind of works really needs a beta edition like test editions for better service through their time.

O.o

Nice, Even though i havn't visited the Ask (Jeeves) site in about 3 years I would probably join to see how much they pay :)

Although nothing could beat Adsense could it?

I'm not so sure about this. I think that google is still better. Ask.com is just trying to get into the internet marketing area. This will probrably not go anywhere.

Yes I also think that this also gonna be like YPN, that launched a year back & never went international.

Well so far nobuddy give better fight to Google. Even Yahoo is also in beta version. So I am not hoping better performance from ASK.com because their search engine always come after top 3 guns.

The only problem with things like this is they sit in Beta so long that I never get to try them out. I really want YPN! to come out of Beta so I can get on their list. I really miss not being able to have simple contextual ads.
