Hey board,
I'm new here. I found you all doing a search on profitmatic. I found one post back in Nov06 but nothing since. So I joined up to this board and tried to post to that thread back from Nov but i don't think it took.
I wanted to see if anyone here had more info on Profitmatic
http://974600.profitmatic.com/
I'll tell you how I got involved. For years I've been receiving a newsletter from a site called "soverignlife" (very cool btw). About a month ago the author asked for everyone to fill out a survey about online opportunities and what is/isn't a scam and if anyone, anywhere was making a consistant 500/month profit on any of these web offers. He's got thousands of readers and tons of feedback but sadly he only turned up 5 recommendations. Of the five he reported on, Profitmatic was the only one that seemed like something I could actually do. I'm not savvy enough about clickbank or adsense or any of that other stuff so this was the one for me.
I did a bunch of searches and checked alot of scam sites but to be honest, most of the stuff I found was either old, like on this forum, or it was a big negative rightup by someone trying to sell their own wealth generator type of hoax.
So a little over two months ago I went ahead and signed up for their 7 day trial-for-a-dollar deal they offer. Then i checked out all their web design tools, their templates, they're marketting tools, etc. They made a website for me, right on the spot with that first buck. Then I built one myself using their tools, and even for a webidiot it was pretty simple (I'm not sure how effetive it'll be but it wasn't too difficult).
I'd like to welcome some feedback. From my assessment, they offer two things:
1) A suite of tools to help you build websites. (I'm still not completely sure what we're supposed to do with that. I made a site with their tools and It's hosted on the web and I guess I can make as many as I want but what for, i don't know?. Does anyone know? Am I supposed to start being some sort of webmaster and sell websites to people/businesses that don't have any? I could do that, I'm just not sure that's their intent. Maybe I'll have to call their helpdesk)
2) The other thing they offer is the whole MLM deal. You bring two friends and they'll brign two friends and so on and so on, blah blah blah. I don't have much of an opinion on this part. They explain a compensation package, with whosits and whatsits and down lines and powerlines and whatever. It could be a great deal, it could be crap, I've got nothing to compare it to.
All I know is that so far, they put two people 'under' me who's monthly enrollment covers my monthly enrollment. So far out of pocket, I paid:
.99 cents for the seven day trial
63.00 for my first month
46.00 for my second month
0 for my third month
I'm at the tide-turning point and hopefully in another two months I'll have made my money back, I'll keep you posted if you're intersted.
