I am thinking to buy a new domain. Currently I use Godaddy.

What registrar you guys/girls suggest? best as well as cheap one I am looking for

GoDaddy is also useful if you wish to start purchasing domains off other people - because I'm based in the uk, I use a uk registrar for my domains, but when I started trading domains, I have to get a goDaddy account, caus it seems to be the most popular US service... my 2c anyway!

I personally use http://www.namecheap.com/ + coupon (you can find them via Google). The DNS resolves really fast, and only took about one and a half minutes to resolve.

I use MyDomain.com and I really enjoy using their services. They are non-intrusive and when I have had problems they have been there. Although some people would claim $8.50 is a bit much for a domain it is less than $1 a month!

Namecheap is mentioned so many times here, and I actually vote for it too :) My experience with Namecheap has been smooth, and the price is good too with coupons.

Tried Moniker as well, and I think it's also good, but personally I like Namecheap better.

GoDaddy.com is cheap and good. I have been using this registrar for some of my domains.
They offer cheap but reliable services and there are a great number of customers at GoDaddy.
Another cheap and popular one is Namecheap.com.
People can occasionally get discount coupons for domain services with both registrars, which is a big advantage.

I use both Godaddy and Namecheap. Both are okay but I prefer Namecheap. They give Private Whois service for free, whereas Godaddy sells it for a couple of dollars. The interface is much better. It's not confusing like Godaddy's. Also, domain pushing is so easy. You can do it in a minute.

I have tried Godaddy and Namecheap. Between both of them i find Namecheap a better service provider. First the site and the information therein are user friendly. Second at Godaddy it feels like being in the clutter whereas with Namecheap the feeling is that of a smoot transaction.

name cheap is really good..go daddy is also pretty much the same thing.
What I like about buying domains is how many responses you get when you are trying to sell them..especially when you find a popular domain for sale you can make a nice little profit. Anyways I use namecheap and haven't had a problem with them yet.
