Hi,

I have a website and thinking to increase the traffic. Can I go for Pay Per click? I am not charging my visitors. I mean I am not selling anything on my site. It is purely service oriented.

What is your thoughts?

thanks in advance.

Yes. you can use Pay per click advertising. How much traffic you get everyday. what is your niche? what is your URL?

Yes indeed you can. I would suggest you set up Google Adwords. There are places where you could go and get reduced vouchers and all and that could save you a decent dollop of money.

Always be positive, it takes a long time to build a half decent site and base of client's.

My friend gave me advise and that is to get a solid flow of traffic before you put PPC on it, that way people who look at your early site won't be turned off about the advertising

I think he means he wants to use PPC to advertise his site on other peoples websites, to get more traffic, rather than puting ads on his site.

As I think someone asked before, what is your niche? What are your services for - is it someting you could give away, and get people to provide backlinks to you? That is always another option... :)

I suggest you try free advertising fist, anyway it is free and solid too. Things like video marketing, bum marketing, article marketing and all, depend on your niche.

if you can afford to test ppc advertising then yes
but never spend more than you can afford presuming
that its going to convert into sales

Okay well as far as this business goes you should never spend more than you can afford to loose. In other words don't go spend your last dime on advertising if you are counting on that advertising to definitely work.

Generally, PPC will help increase traffic to your site. You may consider hiring a PPC advertising management company. Try ppcgeeks.net. They offer a free consultation. Their a reputable and experienced company.

You can do your own PPC campaign but it requires thorough knowledge of the marketplace — especially the world wide web. There are advertising agencies you can scout online that can provide cost-effective PPC campaigns. Take note that some PPC companies have professional fees on top of your budget for pay per click (http://www.fruitengine.com/payperclick.html) advertising.

Hope my insights helped :)
