Daliy SEO Tips... Everyone's Invited...

Hi All,


I was recently doing SEO Analysis for many website and I my common observation for the almost all the websites were that will do SEO for a website; we tend to focus too much on broader aspects that we tend to ignore the smaller aspects of SEO.

Hence I thought of posting one SEO Tip daily, as per my knowledge and experience, concentrating more on the smaller details of SEO rather than the bigger picture.

I also invite all of you to please add in your SEO tips here so that together we all can enhance our knowledge on SEO… 


Today's SEO Dose:

Always make sure to include some kind of actions on all your top scoring high performance webpages. Well trust me but this is not at all difficult nor it takes too much of time either, but yes it does makes loads of difference in getting good quality results.

This act will help in giving a reason to your visitor to take further action within your website rather than just leaving your website from the 1st and foremost page itself.

So. Always create information rich and action loaded pages for your website…

One of main and simple SEO tips is avoid using the frames in your site

Avoid Using Flash too. Flash cannot load easily.

Keep building backlinks - for new site it makes the search engines job of finding you easier, for developing sites it increases your rankings in search engines (think of backlinks as votes), and for developed sites it tells the search engines that your site is still alive (there is a rumour that google will actually drop a site from the index if it doesn't find backlinks to it for a few updates in a row...)

I know what you mean - I kinda took that idea when I started up the PHP tutorials thread - although there are already a couple of comments on it - tell u what, if I get bored I will bring all the tips together in a new thread, and we will keep this one for commenting! How that?

Erm... yeah I do :p - I'm a Uni student, I do about 4 hours work a day lol!!! (well, until I realise I need money! - then I sell my domain names lol)

Yeah, I've heard that a lot. I use frames, but I already have all of my pages just without headers and things. I'm too lazy to fix them. *cries for help*

This one is really obvious, but I have seen so many sites do it:

Do not try to catch the search engines out. Hidden text, duplicate pages, link farming and Keyword stuffing may seem appealing, but the search engines WILL catch you out, and they WILL ban you - I've seen it done so many times before, and despite the warnings, I still see sites do it now.

I especially find the text that is the same color as the background very annoying. If you accidentally select all, it looks really dumb, and you're probably going to get blacklisted by the SE.
