Well, my stories aren't like most on here doing sites, then selling them.. I'm pretty much a full time (although I go to school) programmer with many employee's I run many sites and have created over 100 modifcations for Invision Power Board, about 60 of them paid. Besides that I have a huge client base.. and I mean huge. I am always looking for new developers that are better then me to do work for me and I pay quite well (between $20 - 35/hr or more depending on the work). It all started when I was 9, and learnt HTML, from there when I was 11 I knew php/mysql off the bat..I started paid work when I was 12 and I am 16 now.. I have made a good bit of money and have been getting some very large and handsome deals making me alot of money. I am currently developing some paid Invision Mods, that will be publicly buyable (Rep System, Dating System, Maps System, Shop System).
Anyways, I just thought I would tell you my story of how I started when I was 12 a have complete over a thousand projects and have hundreds of clients.
Thanks..
Wow, now that's something different for a change. Programming definitely takes alot more skill over just building and selling a site.
By the way, how do you keep up with all of your clients/projects/etc, just wondering.
Thanks for sharing your story with us :)

Thanks for sharing your story here with us, it seems really intresting, I like the way you started html at just 9 years old, that is amazing as I never even touched a computer, until I was around the age of 12 years old!

Great story. Mine is almost identical to yours, except I decided to go with designing sites instead of programming... now I'm regretting it. I'm also learning php/MySQL, so I think that I'll be OK.

I started HTML when I was 11 playing neopets. You know how you needed html codes to change your shop, guilds, and pet pages? That is what got me interested in web development.
that is awesome, i never knew that you could make invision free mods lol, but now ill look into it.
