I'm also interested in these. It seems like now, everyone wants their logo to be vector. I'm really sticking to good ol' Photoshop myself, because I've used it forever.

The reason they want vectors is so that the logo is scalable - you ever tried blowing up a 200x200 bitmap logo to go on an A3 poster? lol

It is fair enough, hence I am trying to find what programs people recommend, so I can start working in it! :)

Yeah, that's true. I really don't get how vector graphics work, though. Seems pretty cool, I guess.

Illustrator is really great for vector. A vector graphic is one which does not loose clarity on changing it's size. For instance consider a logo for a company...they might want to use the logo for their website, brochures, T shirts etc and all these require them to be in different sizes and if it is a vector file it can be done easily.

Illustrator is a costly software you can always have an open source alternative for it which is as good. Here is inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org) for you.

CorelDraw can do that also. I'm more familiar with CorelDraw than with Illustrator. They have essentially the same functions, but CorelDraw can also be used for creating lay-outs.

I rarely use Illustrator, though, so my comment may be a bit biased.

My opinion, Adobe Illustrator is the best way to go for doing vectors.

Vector files are created from tools like: Lines, curves, etc. In other word's, it's created through you drawing it. That's the reason why they're so small.

I ALWAYS use Adobe Illustrator for creating vector graphics. I find it to be simple and satisfactory.

Of course they’re other choices (Adobe Photoshop can also do it effortlessly).

The one time I tried to make a vector, I used Paint Shop Pro. I believe it was version eight, but it could have been seven. It turned out horrible, tested my very last nerve, and thus I haven’t attempted to make another vector graphic since! However, most of the stellar vector graphic creators seem to prefer using Illustrator, as previously stated. One of the best vector artists I had ever seen used Paint Shop Pro, though.

The game warhammer brings you to the world with fierce battle and war, as a new game created by the same author of Dark Age of Camelot ,it characters by the realm vs realm and will set the Warhammer Power Leveling (http://www.item4u.com/Warhammer-Online/Power-Leveling) into endless wars. When the War Power Leveling join into the world of warhammer, he must choose a realm and join the field army of it. If the Warhammer Online Power Leveling players prefer the kind role, he can choose from the firm atomy, the magnificent eidolon and the loyalist emperor soldier, if the Warhammer Online Power Leveling (http://www.item4u.com/Warhammer-Online/Power-Leveling) players prefer the evil role, he can choose from the wild beast, depraved dark eidolon. The battle of realm vs realm among the three historic enemies, the Warhammer Power Leveling will be deep into the war between enemies, later he will also go over to the other two realms to help his ally to get the finally victory. I have decided to have a test of TEM-8 again in next year. This is the final chance for me. I would try my best in these three months. No matter what the result be. I would never regret dropping the World of Warcraft Power Leveling (http://www.item4u.com/WoW-EU/Power-Leveling).Sometimes I hated the test for its horrific, yeah I was afraid of test, which was equals to the net game, or WoW Power Leveling (http://www.item4u.com/WoW-US/Power-Leveling). Both of them were very strange to me. But I couldn’t give up for its importance, I couldn’t do what I want to do only for I was no longer a little girl, I don't think that when people grow up, they will become more broad-minded and can accept everything. Conversely, I think it's a selecting process, knowing what's the most important and what's the least. And then be a simple man.buy cheap World of Warcraft cd key (http://www.item4u.com/bestSelling-CDKey/WoW-EU-CDKey) .
