Silly Question i no, Has to be DreamWeaver but on Dreamweaver 8/CS3 i can not put pic's next to each other, BUT on Yahoo site maker is really simple. Once iv inported my files from fireworks and Flash i can do what i like to my site. Yes when inporting yahoo site maker files to my web hosting service i do have to spend a wile editing the html format so that i dont get a msg saying that it was created using yahoo site maker and should not be viewed out side yahoo's program, Please give me some aulternatives to this hasle.

i say dreamweaver all the way plus when you say put pics next to each other what do you mean? and have you tried editing the code by adjusting the width of the pic?

Ideally, you wouldn't want to use either. It's just a lot better to learn your coding now, because eventually it'll come in handy, save you loads of time, and might even save you some money by not having to hire anyone to do the work for you, or if you hire a programmer to build you some sort of management system, he'll most likely charge higher if your code is crap, since both of those utilities make for horrible looking code, as well as not consistent validity across different browsers.

But if it were me, I would definitely use Dreamweaver.

i think dreamweaver is better than not only yahoo site maker but most of other related softwares ... like FrontPage etc .. once you u get a hold of it u can do alot of things which no other such software is capable of.

Dreamweaver and Yahoo Site Maker aren't even in the same realm as each other.

Personally, I recommend not using a site designer, because you can learn HTML better hand-coding it. A good FREE WYSIWYG editor is Nvu (http://www.nvu.com). If you can afford it, and really want a WYSIWYG editor, go Dreamweaver.

any given day, I will always go with Dream Weaver.

Dreamweaver is the more professional website making software since more professionals have created it and use it. Yahoo Site Maker would be for those who are new to the development of websites and Dreamweaver would be harder to use, but better in the long run.
If you wanted to know which dreamweaver to get 8 or CS3, I will say:
CS3 because it is the newest version of Adobe Dreamweaver (no longer Macromedia), although it will cost you more than the older version.

Just one quetsion... Why is it when i host a XHTML file on the net by browser can display it but when i go to my girlfriends mums her browser can't. She is using The Aol Softwear mind you.

Different browsers will render xhtml and css differently. AOL probably doesn't render the xhtml file correctly. It could also be a problem you'll have to change by going to the Internet Options.
