hey guys
I was just wondering do you outsource your website design or content etc...
if so what percentage do you outsource?
when i started making websites i did everything myself
but now that i have some extra cash from selling my websites
i seem to be outsourcing more and more

No, I don't outsource, at least now :) I'm from a middle-income family and a developing country, so money matters a lot for me. Besides, I would like to challenge myself to learn design & coding myself, so I take the job of maintaining my sites as an opportunity to practice and develop my skills. Sometime later, though, when I don't have time for these jobs, I may outsource.

If the website that you own has a good traffic and is a money spinner take the help of professionals to enusure that you give your users the best possible service by way of simplicity and user friendliness. And in case you run a website just like that keep yourself indulged into it and experiment a lot. That way you will build up a knowledge base for yourself and probable become a good web designer yourself !

I do not outsource. Of course, bluecolor is correct:

That way you will build up a knowledge base for yourself and probable become a good web designer yourself! You may become a great web designer by outsourcing and it is better to outsource if it benefits the users in some way (such as usability or design).
I don't believe that outsourcing is wrong or I should never do it, but I just don't. I like to know that everything I do is 100% mine and I can say it's mine without any stress. I can say, "yes, I did that" and someone might be amazed (or not).
