i am trying to get some new sponsors for my forum contest but i am not sure if i am doing everything right. so i am asking for some more tips.

so far i have offered advertisements on about 3 of my high traffic and pr sites. only received one sponsor and it doesnt pay for too much.

what else can i offer and what do you guys do to get sponsors for your websites or forums or contests or anything?

i am just trying to get a good budget to launch my contest may 1st and help is appreciated.

Hmm, it might help if you can tell us what your forum is about and the URL.

Yes that would be great? How did you get your initial sponsor? You might be able to expand on the way you got the initial one...

Thanks

Yeah,Its not easy to get them pal.
I got someone to sponsor some domains but he did that becoz he knows me and a PR3 backlink can help him as well.

People would love to sponsor any site that they think can either promote their site to the correct audience or drive traffic.

If you have quality content and you have enough visitors, you can post at DigitalPoint (http://www.forums.digitalpoint.com) for getting some sponsors. You'll get many sponsors offering you a good price.

yes digital point is agood place but offering them alot of ads aruond the contest is also good, because then people would go to there site, if they are in need of something like it, and it is related to the contest.

people will only sponsor your site if its atleast somewhat unique and can provide them something back alittle or a lot.
