Has anyone run a non English website or hosted non-English content? If you’re looking at monetising sites these are a very good way of getting extra income – particularly if your getting a lot of traffic already from non-English speaking countries.
Although I sell human web translation (into Chinese) there are some reasonable automatic translation packages out there. If you’re interested PM me. These are the rules that I would use on automatic script translation:
If you are looking to make a decent sum of money from the page, splash out on a translator
Selling pages (rather than information pages) need a translator – persuading rather than informing
European languages (French, German, Italian, etc) have far better results than oriental languages
