I have an expired domain name and I would like to redeem it. This domain name expired about two months ago. The last time I checked the WHOIS profile, the domain name is now under the registrar's name. Is there a general domain name redemption policy for all registrars? If there is what is the time frame?
My concern is that since the domain name is now with the registrar, the acquisition rights for the domain name could already be higher than the normal rate. This registrar's normal domain name is now way above the the regular. You may not believe it but it is $35 per TLD (.COM and other popular TLDs).
Hope you can provide me some guidance leading to the redemption of my domain name.
