New to AdWords, Any Tips?

m about to embark on a huge adwords campaign, site specific CPM, and I was just wondering if anybody has any tips for me on how to save some money on AdWords, I have never really used AdWords heavily and am a huge noob in it.

Also can someone tell me if the conversion tracking is hard to install...
How long did it take you, they have PDF manual there but I opened up and it was like 50 pages so I kind of put it aside for later
