I have used TNX.net (http://tinyurl.com/2f3o6p) for three months now and I wanted to report that it is by far the best, easiest, and safest method to build backlinks. I tried out the free 5,000 links offer and used their really slick app that can make a huge variety of custom natural looking link anchors and surrounding text so the same link anchor text doesn't stick out like a sore thumb to Google.
One of the things that I did was to use a sitemap creator and collect all the links and title text of the pages on one of my websites (1,000 pages) and I created a linking campaign that created links to each of my deep pages. The Googlebot went absolutely crazy indexing my site! Deep links are really awesome, and I got 1,000 for just 20 minutes of easy work!
You can specify what categories of sites you want links from (so they are more relevant) and the links are on pretty good pages. Very few spammy sites, and if you do find one, it's easy to ban them. They're all indexed by Google - no banned sites. You can get links on high PR sites really easy.
You really might want try it out. All you need to do is sign up for a free account (http://tinyurl.com/2f3o6p). After you sign up, you can get free points by visiting a DP thread and just asking for them.
Also, in addition to the free points the admins will give you, if you sign up directly from one of these links, I will transfer an additional 2,000 points to your account. One thing you'll find that is really cool about TNX (http://tinyurl.com/2f3o6p) is how easy it is to make good money fast and safely by selling links. All you do is add some php code to your template or widget or whatever, and links start appearing on your pages and points (exchangeable for cash, of course) start appearing in your account. By default, it is set up to only sell one link per page, but you can increase that up to four. I would recommend not going higher than three per page, but I'm conservative. The links look completely natural in the page source code, so Google doesn't know that they are paid and you can customize how they are shown also.
You can make very good money selling links. They sell fast and you are paid very well. Higher page rank pages make more and also, the more backlinks Yahoo shows you have, the more each page is worth. And you get paid each month for the links you sell. I've found that TNX.net (http://tinyurl.com/2f3o6p) is an excellent way to monetize my websites.
