I'm having some problems with my PC, it just won't start. I'm pretty sure its got to do with these new drivers I just installed for my video card. Everytime I startup my PC, it doesn't get past the Windows boot screen (where it has the loading bar) and just goes to a blue screen that immediately causes the PC to restart. It happens so fast that I don't even get to take down what the blue screen says.

I can't even startup in safe mode. While it's loading all the files, it hangs and just restarts again. I can't restore my PC from the recovery disk as I lost it.

Anyone here have any advice for me? :( I'd really appreciate it.

I think the only way to fix it would be to use an XP CD (I guess you're using XP) and choose the Repair option. If that doesn't work then you will have to re-install Windows.

If you don't have an XP CD then i have no idea what you could do other than borrow the CD from someone.

You might want to try a utility disc called hirens boot cd. you should be able to boot your machine with this disk so that you can strip the driver...Heres the wiki on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiren's_boot_CD. Its definitely worth a try if you dont want to have to format your drive and start over..hope this helps some

I would personally boot your computer in safe mode. To boot your computer in safe mode just hit F8 on your keyboard when you first starting up (before it gets to the windows screen). If this does work you should reinstall windows XP over your current install, and then update your graphics driver with the cd that came with the graphics card or seach up "driver guide" on google and you'll find the website that i normally use to download my drivers. I hope this helps!

Shutdown the pc and remove the hardware from the slot. Then open the pc in safe mode. Then remove driver of that device. Start a pc in normal mode again. Hope it helps

Remove that graphic card and try again. There must be some hardware conflict.

If all else fails you can always format your PC and then reinstall windows.

If you don't get it to work you would need access to another computer and plug in your HDD to that to get your files backed up before you reformat...

I think it's called "Slave Drive" or something ..
