I use Photoshop for all my graphic designing :)

I have used Paint Shop Pro in the past but I find Photoshop to be much more professional and can do a lot more. Also I find it easier to use now :p

What do you use? :)

It depends on what I'm creating the graphic for, and whether it is animated. For static graphics, I use Photoshop, but if its animated in any way at all, I prefer to use Fireworks.

Photoshop cs2 is my favourite one not only for designing graphics but now its providing facility to make slide show of images too. SO we can create photo gallery easily.

Photoshop is a great program but i think some designers get stuck in there ways and try to make photoshop do everything.

I mean, we have all these other great programs to help us why put all the work load on photoshop.

Illustrator is a very good program for creating vectors, the quality that comes from this software is unmatched by photoshop in its genre.

Another thing is people use photoshop to make business cards and flyers, GET QUARK.

Fireworks is also a great tool for interface design, imo, it has a great way of mending the shapes together so it's alot easier to get the structure of a GUI module then it would be to use the pen tool in photoshop

I use Macromedia Flash edition and Adobe Photoshop various edition for my graphic jobs. I was trying this stuff for past three years.

Recently, I have started using Swish Max for text animations on my site, I think it helps me in that suite!

I use.... (don't laugh) - the GIMP! :D GO me!!

Na, when I first started out, I didn;t have a cracked copy of PS or PSP, and I couldn't afford to buy it, so I just found the GIMP as its free! And now, I've just kinda got used to it! Still works....almost...as well as PSP and PS lol

Like most of you I use Photoshop. Only at times I would use Paint Pro Shop for animating. Other than that, Adobe Photoshop is the only graphic program I use for my graphics.

I use PSP8, although not the best, once you get to learn how to use it - it is very good. I rather not spend a few hundred for Photoshop, although nice... I don't know if I'm going to stick around in designing. Once I make that dission, I may buy Photoshop if I stick around though.

I use Photoshop and just love it. I have tried programs like Gimp and stuff but they are a little different and aren't exactly what I am used to.

I have have always and will continue to use Photoshop CS2. I find it is really easy to use and has all features I need plus more. Also I use Image Ready with it to slice my web design templates.

Photoshop is definatly worth what it costs.

I mostly use Photoshop > for my basic graphic needs
but when it comes to a bit of animation i prefer Fireworks
... Both Fireworks N Photoshop r really good ... i hope everyone out here agrees to this.

I use Adobe Photoshop for everything related to graphic. I find the tools to be very useful (though it can be slow if you have a crappy PC). I also love how you can change your picture dramatically with just a few clicks. My friend didn't even notice it was the same picture until I told him.

I use Photoshop CS3, been using it for a while now.
It's actually pretty easy to learn after you get a hang of it.
I have probably been using it for around 2-3 months now, but I already started making sigs, etc, with tutorials.
It's a very useful, but expensive program, but if you're seriously into designing, it's worth all the pennies ;).

I use Paint Shop Pro 8. It has always been easy to use for me, and has brought about quality results. I have tried Photoshop in the past, but I found it way too hard to use. I couldn't figure out practically anything! Not to mention, I get Paint Shop Pro for free, so that it is a perk :]
