Hi,
I learned by using a tool, located at widexl.com, some easy to do work on your home page.

First, the title in your page should be relative to the words on the page. So, try to make sure all the words in your title are on your page a few times.

Second, make sure your meta tags are containing the same words that are on your page. Plus try to make your description and keyword tags a little different so you can cover more content, but make sure those words and phrases appear on your page someplace. Also, make those kind of words and phrases point back at your site in anchor tags appearing on other sites. I believe you should limit the amount of characters in all of your meta tags and your title because the search engines only pick up a certain amount (I think) and you don't want to cheat yourself by not getting the target words picked up.
