I'm an article writer and looking how to sell my work for a decent prize. I can't accept 1c/word for a well researched article any more, but it is hard to find a buyer for 2c/word. Some magazines offer up to $1/word and beyond though.
So, I was thinking to build my own site(s), write some high quality content. Has anyone any experience with selling sites he/she made? What price can be achieved and how is it related to visits or revenue? Other possibility I'm researching are online and offline magazines looking for new writers. There are quite some forums and organisations which offer support to writers, like: mulford.mco.edu healthwriting.com cma.ca/index.cfm forums.writersweekly.com writersrow.com wwforums.com/eve/forums mcmahonmed.com Many magazine editors will ask you for education you have, others will just ask for samplew of your work and what you have published so far. One possibility to start is to contact owners of newly opened article directories. Some are prepared to pay you to write on the beginning, even if their long term goal is actually earn from publishing articles of others. I do not want to rewrite articles, write about sensational stuff and the like. If someone is willing to share his/her success with selling a good article, I will appreciate.
