Ok. This is going to be a separate but similar issue to my Top Level Domain thread. I know there are ways to protect you domain within the borders of the United States via trademarks, servicemarks, incorporation, etc. but how do you go about protecting your domain from cybersquatters, typosquatters, etc. outside the borders of the United States? I know ICAAN is one place you can complain to, but it may take years to get them to do anything about losing a domain to theft or falling victim to typosquatting. For those that don't know, cybersquatting is where they steal your expiring domain and typosquatting is where they register a domain similar to yours. EX: walmart.com and wallmart.com

So my questions are this:

Is there International Law that you could use to protect yourself in a case of cybersquatting or typosquatting? If so is it moderately priced or is it so high priced that only a major corporation like Walmart could afford to fix the problem? If that is the case what can the "working man" do to protect himself?
